First, you want to make sure it is a profitable niche, no sense spending a bunch of time promoting a product that no one wants to buy. The key to making money with Internet Marketing is finding that little golden gem that has people grabbing for their wallets You want to find what people are already buying online and get out there and sell it to them.
Follow your competitors. You will have competitors in your market..if you don’t then that is a huge sign that you need to rethink your niche or product. Since you have competition you may as well learn as much from them as you can. Study everything about them..do they blog? Do they have large mailing list? What keywords are they targeting. Taking the time to anaylize what your competition has done past, present and future can give you the advantage of knowing ahead of time what is working and what may not be working.
Start building your list. Invest in an autoresponder and get started building a quality list. Quantity is not everything when it comes to your list. Taking the time to build a good responsive list is a much better approach. You want to build a trusting relationship with the people on your list. Take the time to learn what it is that they are looking for and what you can help them with.
Send traffic to your product. If no one visits your site then no one can ever purchase from you. In order to be making money with Internet Marketing you need to have prospects visiting your site. Period. There are numerous ways to build a constant flow of traffic..far to many to cover here. I will share briefly the a few ways that I make a good monthly income from Internet. Anything that I do, doesn't cost any money to start (other than buying items to sell on EBay) and I can work at my own pace. I will post at the bottom of the links that I used to get started, these links give more in depth information
(1) I sell items on EBay and on a local auction site. Most of my items comes from yards sales, flea markets, discount bins at local stores, etc. I sell larger items locally, less shipping charges etc. Most customers will gladly pick up the items. Sometimes I buy items from the local site just to sell on EBay. You can get the same type of information that some people offer for sale just by checking out the Ebay site for free!
(2) Real money can be made by having your own website / blog. It takes a little time and effort but if correctly done correctly, you can make extra money even when you are off the computer. That is the best thing about the Internet, it is open 24/7 and available worldwide
(3) I make a little extra money by doing simple things like surveys, "reading emails", etc. I spend about an 1/2 hour a night doing this. I prefer "reading emails" because it takes less time, I just visit a link that is provided and wait for a timer to expire and move onto another link.
Hopefully you find my suggestions helpful and more important profitable
